Bayla Ostrach, MA, PhD, CIP will teach teens about the philosophy of harm reduction, where they can get Naloxone and Naloxone administration. They will also discuss the Good Samaritan laws and COVID-19.
Aaron Medina (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will discuss how making destructive choices might be a means of celebration or coping, and then coming up with alternatives for either. He will also provide tips for having this conservation or alternatives, with the understanding that every child’s relationship with their parent or guardian will be different. At the end he will share SADD’s Contract for Life agreement parents and/or guardians make with their children related to destructive decisions.
Cenzontle Language Justice Cooperative will provide simultaneous Spanish interpretation.
