The Partnership for Substance Free Youth in Buncombe County is a coalition of K-12 schools, private businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies in Buncombe County and greater Asheville area that is committed to keeping children away from alcohol and drugs.
“The Partnership for Substance Free Youth in Buncombe County is a Drug-Free Communities multi-sector coalition serving our communities with the goal of preventing and reducing youth substance use.”
The coalition uses evidence-based prevention strategies to address underage drinking and teen prescription drug use as well as being a resource for current youth drug trends in our community.
The coalition recognizes that the health, safety, and wellbeing of our children is a community effort and together we can prevent and reduce youth substance use as an important step in protecting the futures of our children.
We are so thankful for a coalition of people who work tirelessly towards our efforts for our youth.
